He wants us to know the power and extent of his love. He wants us to know that his love is a no-matter-what-love. God showed up at our slave auction. He did that, once and for all, in the Person of Jesus at the cross. He bought us back. He redeemed us. He paid the price with his own blood." (emphasis in original)
